An opportunity exists for people living within the St Peter’s Ward of Ashton-under-Lyne.
We currently have four vacancies for Community Outreach Workers and will require resourceful and flexible individuals to reach out into the local community and build links between residents, organisations and groups.
Applicants must be able to accommodate a structured but adaptable timetable and be available to work evenings and weekends when required. All applicants should possess good verbal and written skills.
How to apply:
All applicants should complete the St Peter’s Partnerships five-day Pre-Recruitment course, after which you will be guaranteed an interview and successful applicants appointed.
We will be doing initial telephone interviews on Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 24th/25th/26th June for selection to join the pre-recruitment course on Monday 13th July 2009 and formal interviews will be on Monday 20th July. All candidates who complete the course will be guaranteed an interview.
